He also uses the knob and buttons near the screen on the keyboard to change the sounds on the keyboard. I think he uses one pad for the beat repeat, every other pads are for samples What his controllers (knobs, faders) controlįor the Akai MPK61, he has for each stem one fader which controls the volume, one knob which controls a low-pass filter and one knob which controls a hi-pass filter. )Ĥ stems: Vocals, drums, lead and basically everything else (bass, melodies etc )

The livestream festival will take place within a VR-optimized, digital auditorium. With an incredibly designed live set-up, including Porter singing live and dynamic visual mapping, all of us here at Daily Beat cannot wait to be apart of the experience. I guess it was session view when he had the Livid Ohm, arrengement view now (since he doesn't have it anymore) Porter Robinson’s Secret Sky Festival this Saturday, April 24 at 3 pm ET. By the looks of it, Porter Robinson‘s Worlds tour is nothing short of spectacular. If he uses session view for dynamic transitions and arrangement or arrangement view and just hits play and waits when he needs to play I don't think he can, I guess it's just sync with the music so when he repeats the part with the lyrics it's automatically synced on the screen He can control the visuals in some songs (i.e. He has to change them manually for the keyboard, not sure for the drum pad (but I think it's manually too)

His keyboard and drum pad sounds change automatically with the songs Gonna say what I know about his live setup, I might be wrong on some stuff however, so pure speculation:
